      Join us for a powerful, hands-on workshop designed to help women, teens, and adults build confidence, learn practical self-defense skills, and strengthen personal safety.

       Sisters in Purple partners with New York Achievement Foundation - philanthropic arm of the New York Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  Including partners Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. - New York Alumnae Chapter, UFT,  NYDOE District 5, and Lista, Raising Canes Chicken Fingers, and Shake Shack .

                The Sisters In Purple: Women Behind The Movement Event is an inspiring gathering set to take place during Women's History Month. This event is dedicated to honoring four exceptional women who have demonstrated extraordinary strength and leadership within their communities. Their unwavering dedication to community service and societal progress will be celebrated through a special award ceremony. The event aims to empower, uplift, and support these women, while also fostering connections and inspiring attendees through networking opportunities, music, and engaging discussions.
